The Bachelor season 25 came to a romantic end on Monday night, as Zach Shallcross proposed to his final rose recipient, Hannah Jones.
The 28-year-old marketing manager from New York City got down on one knee and presented Hannah with a stunning Neil Lane diamond ring, reports People.
A Journey of Love
Zach and Hannah’s relationship blossomed throughout the season as they bonded over their shared passion for travel, music, and philanthropy.
They also faced some challenges, such as Hannah’s doubts about moving to New York and Zach’s past addiction issues. But they overcame their fears and opened up to each other, earning the approval of their families and the fans.
A Dramatic Finale
The finale episode was full of drama, as Zach had to say goodbye to his other finalist, Olivia Parker, a 26-year-old nurse from Nashville.
Olivia was heartbroken and shocked by Zach’s decision, as she felt they had a strong connection and a future together. Zach admitted that he loved Olivia but was in love with Hannah.
After breaking up with Olivia, Zach met Hannah at the final rose ceremony location, a beautiful lakeside resort. He poured his heart out to her, telling her how much he admired her strength, kindness and beauty.
He said he couldn’t imagine his life without her and asked her to marry him. Hannah tearfully accepted his proposal, saying he was her world and her best friend.
A Happy Ending
The newly engaged couple celebrated their engagement with a champagne toast and a ride on a horse-drawn carriage.
They also spoke to host Chris Harrison, who congratulated them on their journey and wished them all the best. Zach and Hannah said they were excited to start their life together in New York and to travel the world as a couple.
The Bachelor season 25 ended with a montage of Zach and Hannah’s sweetest moments, as they declared their love for each other and looked forward to their future.
